Our Impact

primary schools

Young Dragons sessions offer knowledge and experience which will improve a child’s chances of succeeding in their future career, whatever route they choose to take.

Through our various programmes of activity, we can help children to develop a questioning and self-starter mindset, which will better prepare them to succeed - both in an educational and a work environment.

Children can take part in Young Dragons in school, or through participating in the Enterprise Challenge. Our sessions will not only help them build confidence and inspire them to be ambitious for their own futures, but will also help them standout in the hugely competitive job market later in life.

The soft skills and wider knowledge from which children will benefit can be developed from a very early age, and it’s never too late to learn, so we offer activities for children and young people from age 5 years up.

secondary schools

Working with students from Years 7 – 12, we have a range of high quality innovative sessions which have been successful in initiating or continuing the development of young people’s enterprise skills. Whether they be creativity-based, presentation or team working skills - we have a choice of sessions to enable staff to deliver enterprise in an interactive, fun and interesting manner. We can also supply mentors and role models to attend schools to support staff in developing these skills. We can design and deliver team-working activities and contextualise the delivery to fit each area of study.

Programmes of interest include:

  • Employability Workshops

  • Entrepreneurial Workshops

  • Business competitions - Young Business Dragons

  • Female focused inspirational sessions

  • Business engagement through visits by and to employers

  • Support for delivery of the Enterprise Challenge and Community Challenge as part of the Welsh Baccalaureate

If you would like to discuss any of our activities for young people in Years 7 – 12, please get in touch.
