The Young Business Dragons competition is aimed at recognising tomorrow's entrepreneurs and promoting the great talent pool of young talent that exists locally. We work with primary and secondary schools across south west Wales. Every Year:

• 40 primary schools take part in the Swansea Primary Enterprise Challenge.

• 1200 primary school children get the opportunity to develop an entrepreneurial idea and sell their wares at a mega market event in Swansea city centre.

• Secondary schools from Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Neath Port Talbot and Swansea take part in Young Business Dragons competing for a place in a glittering grand final.

Our Mission

Our goal is to trigger an enterprising mindset in young people, engendering an innovative and creative approach to life:

•To help young people develop entrepreneurial skills: creativity, problem solving, innovation, communication, negotiation and decision-making .

•To help to build stronger links between Education & Business.

•To support the development of an enterprise curriculum.

•To involve positive partners and role models from the business community.

•To nurture the innovators and entrepreneurs of the future.
